Tokyo, August 8, 2025 — Japan has expressed strong support for the recent agreement reached between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Kingdom of Thailand regarding the implementation of a ceasefire mechanism. The announcement was made by Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi IWAYA in a statement issued today.
